Michelle Stassi Rosamond has been dedicated to providing quality legal services for more than a decade.
After receiving her bachelor's degree from James Madison University in 1990, she was a marketing and sales representative in the pharmaceutical industry. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor degree from Capital University Law School in 1998, and was admitted to practice in Ohio of that same year.
Ms. Rosamond began her legal career by representing insurance companies in a wide variety of claims-related litigation. After acquiring significant trial law experience, she devoted a year to Capital University's Family Advocacy Legal Clinic, providing free legal assistance to indigent victims of domestic abuse.
Later, Ms. Rosamond spent four years in public service as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio, defending the rights of consumers in the Consumer Protection Section, then advising health care related state agencies in the Health and Human Services Section. She acted as chief legal counsel to various state regulatory boards including the Ohio State Chiropractic Board, the Ohio Board of Optometry and the Ohio Respiratory Care Board. In that role, she litigated disciplinary actions on behalf of the Boards concerning alleged professional misconduct. She also advised the boards regarding interpretation of law and drafting of new legislation.
In 2005, she was admitted to practice in Florida and concentrated her practice on general civil litigation and representing physicians and other healthcare professionals in medical malpractice defense and administrative licensure hearings. In 2006, Ms. Rosamond founded her own firm, and has since devoted most of her practice to representing employees who have been victims of workplace discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination.
